The Great Seers of Maharashtra
- Maharashtra enjoys a continuous tradition of saintly human beings that continues today
- Millions of highly educated technocrats, engineers, doctors and professors, including many in the United States, follow their teachings, even as they perform their daily duties running hospitals, laboratories, factories and educational institutions. This is possible because these teachings are about conducting themselves properly in all their roles, respecting nature and all life, taking the minimum from mother earth, wiping the tear of a less-privileged person and giving back to the society. These values transcend debates such as atheist-vs-believer or believer in a particular religion or sect.
